Does the program send the person booking a confirmation number?

Hello,

you can send email/SMS confirmation to your customer after making reservation.
Here is the process:

Email/SMS settings is available in global configuration. First you have to create email template and then go to the global configuration//Email. Here you can set what email/SMS will be sent to a customer after reservation, which one will be sent to the manager after customer registration, you can also inform a customer after change reservation status etc.
