TOPIC: Closing day dates and time altered

Closing day dates and time altered 8 years, 2 months ago #48156

Hi, I'm using bookit 2 on a joomla 3.6.2 site. Everything seems ok except closing day dates get altered whenever I open or save an item. It seems like a timezone issue as the dates/times are changed back to approx UTC each time. php.ini is set to Pacific/Auckland.
So if I set a time of 18:00 to 20:00 this will be saved as 05:00 to 07:00. The next time I open the record, the values will be reset back another 13 hours, dates included. Saving the item again will reset back a further 13 hours.

Thanks for any advice

Hello, the Overview does not show closing days. Only reservations.

You should enter closing day time in the hh:mm:ss format. For example:

Beginning Time: 12:00:00
End Time: 18:00:00

Hi and thanks for the quick reply. I was certainly hoping it would work as you described. However, if I:
  1. define a record -
    bookit_define.png
  2. then save the record - it alters the times -
    bookit_save_01.png
  3. it doesn't display on the front end -
    bookit_save_front_01.png
  4. if I save again, it alters the time again -
    bookit_save_02.png
  5. and does display
    bookit_save_front_02.png

While this seems OK - I can simply save twice or subtract 12 hours to begin with - it gets problematic if it is more there is a day boundary involved

Also times/dates don't display correctly unless I'm logged in. For example
  1. event when logged in (correct!)
    bookit_event_logged_in.png
  2. event when logged out (incorrect) -
    bookit_event_logged_out.png
