Is this a bug?

Have a look at this Booking Calendar:

When a the user selects a booking, if they select the highest (colored) boxes, then the whole selection is highlighted. i.e. 2, 4 or 7 hours (boxes). However, if the user selects a box somewhere inside the booking times, then only this box is highlighted. This can be very confusing for customers.

For example. If I select to book on Monday, for a full day slot. If I select the orange 0900-1000 slot, the full day is highlighted. If I select 1000-1100 or any other box, then only this one hour slot is selected.

Is there any way, then when a box in the middle or below the top box is clicked, then also the whole fixed period is highlighted. i.e. 2,4 or 7 boxes.

Ok, I tested it on your site and simulated. We will try to solve this problem for next release.

EDIT: I consulted it with developer, because there were similar problems already reported and it looks it is already prepared for next version. But it was not released yet.

Any idea when the next release will be coming out?

Also, if the release is not for a while, would it be possible to have a "beta" version of the release, or at least the code that was required to fix this issue?
