Hi I am Dimitris and I facing this problem:
I have bought the booking component (www.auto-ci.com)
I have added some objects and I was almost ready
BUT
After upgrading to latest version 1.4 (online, I did not download the component again)
I cannot add payments. Any payments
Although the reservation types exist.

PHP Version 5.2.17
Joomla! Version Joomla! 2.5.4 Stable [ Ember ] 2-April-2012 14:00 GMT
Web Server Apache/1.3.42 (Unix) mod_gzip/1.3.26.1a mod_auth_passthrough/1.8 mod_log_bytes/1.2 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 mod_ssl/2.8.31 OpenSSL/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5
Database Version 5.0.91mm-log

I had ARTIO Booking --- 1.3.9 -- (working) and now I have --- 1.4.0 ---(not worikng)
please advise

Hello, I tried your page. I thing it's still 1.3.9. Could you describe your problem in more details or give me access to your testing page or something else?

YES you are correct. I had to downgrade to 1.39 because I had this problem. I always take a backup before any upgrade . So I restored to the older version after I realised that I could not add any prices.
Please feel free to login to www.auto-ci.com/prot For the now it's runnung 1.39. Can you give an email or some way to send you the credentilas to login to my site. I do not want to publish them in a forum. when you connect please upgrade to 1.4 and try to add prices.

I iam having a similar problem.....
I too was using the free 1.3.9 version, then today purchased the paid version.
I installed it by the online upgrade, and there were a few error messages.
I then re-installed it via the online upgrade.... no errors (it said that a re-install rather than an upgrade was being performed as I already was on ver 1.4.0)

Now when I access my site, using data which was there BEFORE the paid version, I get an error..... thats all the message says... just "error"

I added a new object (AFTER) the upgrade to the paid version 1.4.0, and i get the following error...
'Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/components/com_booking/views/subject/tmpl/default_properties.php on line 22'

I use a good host, Apache version 2.2.21, PHP version 5.2.17, MySQL version 5.0.92-community-log,

This is driving me crazy.
I hope that this does not take days or weeks to get a reply from support, as others seem to have done.

Hello, there is maybe some table column missing in database tables. There are two ways to solve it.

1. Uninstall component and delete all database tables with prefix jos_booking. Prefix jos_ can be different according your configuration. Install again.
2. Look into file administrator/components/com_booking/sql/install.mysql.utf8.sql - it's relative path from Joomla root. There is script what installs booking database. Compare content of script with your database and differences repair.
