Hi,
I've been fiddling a bit with various reservation solutions for our J!2.5 site.
We have only 1 scout-cottage for rent, and like the ArtioBooking for this.
However - I have a few questions on How-To/Can this be done:
1:
I first tried the Book It Free because the v.2 is still marked as beta (for the free DL)
Here, I could create custom/ Extra Fields - np.
But, I then uninstalled this version, installed the v2. and now the Extra Fields 'just' shows my entire admin area of Joomla! ??
How to fix this please?
2:
As we wish for people to be able to just reserve and not pay online, we wish for the customer form to *not* include the payment table.
At the moment, the table is there - showingthe label, but the table itself is empty - only for 1 reservation...
If customer makes 2 or more reservations, the 1st payment table still empty - but the next payment table is there - in full.
How can we remove these all together?
Also, in table "reservation", item price and tax labels are shown...
As we do not want online payment - how do we remove these?
3:
If customer (from the cust. form) cancels from the top (big red X-icon), he/she is directed to the list page.
How can we make this direct to detail page?
(we don't use the list at all :/ )
Also, if cust. cancels by removing current reservation on the customer form (little red X-icon), he/she is directed to an empty page saying
"You have no items to reserve"
This text is not found in the language file.
How can we make this direct back to details page?
(alternatively: where we do we translate this text?)
4:
After clicking the "Boot It" -button, a modalbox appears.
IF clicking the "Save and continue reservation", the box goes all white, stays - and nothing else happens.
I can close the box, and click Book it -button again - same modal box appears
- but it now have the headline of the customer form (about filling in personals).
How to fix this?
5:
As this being a free extension - I really don't mind having the developer text/backlink in the pages.
BUT: is it possible to have it just 1 or 2 line rows further down?
It's not too pleasent for the eye to have it as "next line" right after the customer-related info....
I realize, this a lot to ask - though hoping for answers to the most of my questions ;)
I have attached scrshots for the above as extra explanation.
Thanks in advance!
