I'm trying to configure Book-It to send an email to the User after a reservation is made. Emails to admins are sent, but nothing is sent to the user.

I have selected an email template to be used under Configuration -> SMS/Email -> Reservation: Customer

But nothing ever arrives. I've checked in both the spam and regular inbox. Does anyone know what else I need to do?

On a side note, certain email clients mark the emails sent by Book-It as spam. Does anyone else have this problem?

Hello,

first make sure that you have set everything correctly:
Email/SMS settings is available in global configuration. First you have to create email template and then go to the global configuration//Email. Here you can set what email/SMS will be sent to a customer after reservation, which one will be sent to the manager after customer registration, you can also inform a customer after change reservation status etc.

Do you have set any reservation expiration?

Unfortunately I have already done the things you mentioned in your post. Do you have any other suggestions?

Hello,

the problem can be with your Joomla Global Configuration.
Please check this: Global Configuration/Server/Mail Settings/ Send mail
