Hi,
I've noticed 2 bugs in the month calendar and I'm unable to fix them:

I made 2 prints and attached them:

the 1st month of the calendar display in object view is wrong. It shows all months properly except the 1st month. 1st months displays the wrong year (next year)

The other issue is that some weeks are displayed twice, once in the proper month, then again in the next month (without the bookable dates, just empty week.

I hope this helps the developers of the component to improve it and get it fixed in the next issue.

Meanwhile somebody knows how to fix this using the component's configuration it'd be most helpful.

Kindly
Mat

Seems I got the fix for the 1st issue:

To get the proper year in the 1st month of the booking calendar I did this:

in components/com_booking/views/subject/tmpl/default_calendar_monthly.php, line 52

Change
<h2 class="subjectSubtitle calendarTitle"><?php echo ($this->setting->monthName . ' ' . $this->setting->year); ?></h2>

by
<h2 class="subjectSubtitle calendarTitle"><?php echo ($this->setting->monthName . ' ' . $this->setting->currentYear); ?></h2>

I hope some pro comes along and says if it's the proper way to do it, I hope it will not bring collateral issues, but it seems working for me for now.

That was a good try but it's not working... ;(
if I select months next year it will start with this year's month 1st, then the chosen months below...
anybody has the solution for that one??

Hello, thanks for your notices. Do you have the last version 1.3.9? There were similar problems in old versions. The problem is that PHP has different behaving with method strtotime in different versions. What version of PHP do you use?

Hi,
Thanks for your reply and the replies in other posts as well, you are most helpful.

I have the latest version: Version: 1.3.9 Date: 2012-03-23

Here is my server info:
Database Version 5.0.95-community
Database Collation utf8_general_ci
PHP Version 5.3.10
Web Server Apache
WebServer to PHP Interface cgi-fcgi
Joomla! Version Joomla! 2.5.4 Stable [ Ember ] 2-April-2012 14:00 GMT
Joomla! Platform Version Joomla Platform 11.4.0 Stable [ Brian Kernighan ] 03-Jan-2012 00:00 GMT

I resolved the issue in my case with a bush solution, so it's working for me, but it's because I've disabled things in the monthly calendar php page as well as some features... not the proper way, but as long as I can use the website I'm good. Thanks.

Actually there was another issue I noticed and havn't opened a ticket because I could find a go-around:
If I end a price period on a certain day (in my case end of month), and start the next period the next day, the calendar would be empty on the 1st day of the next period. I had to make the rates overlap to make the 1st day of the next period bookable. I don't know if it's a bug or if it's just a different way to enter rate periods, anyway it's working now but I thought I'd make you know.
