I would like to test Book it! free on my local server.
I've downloaded the file com_booking_free.zip and I've tried to instal as all the components,
extension>extension manager > selecting the zip file click on the upload button, but I get the message that the upload fails, and that it is iimpossible to find the installation package?

I'm just starting with 2.5 so maybe I'm doing wrong :(

Hello, there are main causes of the problem:

- Booking package is large (more then 2MB), upload can disable restrictions in PHP (upload max. size or post max. size)

- Joomla uploads package in tmp directory, this folder can be unwritable

- your FTP account is full, there is not enough free space

- PHP cannot unpack ZIP archive, I saw this problem on Windows 7
