ok, but I in the Joomla root, there is a .htaccess and a htaccess.txt! Do I have to keep the .htaccess or should I rename the htaccess.txt? Do you want me to post the content of the two files?

edit: ok, I activated mod_rewrite, activated PHP5, but changed nothing on the .htaccess or htaccess.txt!

The external Link is working (VM-Forum), but the internal link to JooBB is not working ( ".")???

Could s.o. please take a look

Hi guys,

3 weeks ago I installed the Joo!BB and everythings worked fine after some little repairs.

last Friday, I installed JoomSEF, now I get 404 and 500 error pages. I think this has something to do with the simplified URLs from the plugin?!?

So I created two links to the Board, the first link in the menu above is "." and links to internal Link/Board. The second link ("VM-Forum") is external and links to www.domain.de/joomla/board.
Now I can visit the Board, but all other sites (login, write, read post, a.s.o.) are not reachable.

Is something wrong with the .htaccess? should i post the .htaccess?
