I'm using Artio Joomsef to get better URL's. Only with Eventlist Artio Joomsef isn't working. Therefore I make the SEF URL's manualy. Everything works fine, if I for example edit a custom URL link www.domain.com/index.php?ect/etc to www.domain.com/etc

When i type www.domain.com/etc in my browser the right page is visiable. But when i lookup the same page by clicking links in EVENTLIST component I see the old URL (www.domain.com/index.php?ect/etc) in my browser.

Is there a way that Artio JoomSef always displays the custom URL in the browser?

I've been using JoomSef for a while now and disabled is for some components, because it didn't work.

For example I disabled it voor Eventlist. For my events i created some custom SEF's which are working fine when i enter the new SEF's URL. But when i access the URL from a link in Eventlist the old URL of Eventlist (like index.php?........)

Is there a option to always display the new SEF URL, also when accessed from a different link?

I've installed Joomsef and it worked perfectly for some time. But now one menuitem is not worrkin anymore.

Joomsef is redirecting by using the alias menu. My alias for the morfeoshow component in the mainmenu is fotos. But now i get a 404 error (not from Joomsef, but old 404 handler)

I checked the Sef links in Joomsef but there were no redirects with the name foto (when i created one it also didn't work)

Only when i set the redirection of morfeoshow to skip in the configuration, the link works again (with the old URL)

Can anyone tell me what i shoud do?

Just the .htaccess from joomla 1.5 was enough, the problem is solved! Thanks for the help!

On every page there is the text: Seo by Artio now... Do i need tot pay if i want that removed? or may i remove it myself?

I get 404 errors now. I did used the .htaccess file from the documentation. I use Joomla 1.5, so do i need to use a different .htaccess file? Joomsef did generate a .htaccess file but thats when the 500 errors began. mod_rewrite is enabeled in my global configuration, how can I enable that on my server? How do I need to set Rewritebase? my site is in root, so do i need to use that?

Hi, I instaleld Joomsef on my linux server with Apache handler.

The install of joomsef created a .htaccess file whitch i renamed because of the 500 error.

After reading the documentaire i copied the content of the htaccess from the documentairy and pasted it into the .htaccess file.

Now i get 404 errors, FAQ told me that that was still due to the wrong htaccess file.

Does anybody know what i'm doing wrong?

I also concluded that the original .htaccess filefrom joomla is a .txt file and the one from joomsef isn't whitch one do i have to use?

In the documentation about Joomsef is a sextion about configuring ISS and related stuf. Maybe a stupid question, but where can i find ISS? or is that not on every server? I couldn't find it on my server, so if it's optional, can i skip that section?

I tried to instal ARTIO JoomSEFin joomla 1.5 but I encountered a problem.

When I activated the component and activated SEF in the global configuration of joomla. (without mod_rewrite and stuff) every link for example in the menu is displayed with allot of text:

Did i install or configured the component incorrectly? because the install created a .htaccess file, whitch i already had.

Is there anybody who has a solution for this?
