Why doesn't Checkout button in VirtueMart work?

If the Checkout button in VirtueMart redirects you to the VirtueMart's frontpage, go to JoomSEF's configuration and set the "Set server QUERY_STRING?" option to "Yes".

Thought it was, but then it would not let me check out. Had to resort to using Joomlas sef, any advice?

SOLVED - i went to ARTIO JoomSEF Configuration and then changed the Show page option and selected (frontpage) option in teh 404 Page area and it updates now on the fly as it should do.

i can confirm that it works fins when i turn off sef and that i have used the config file you provided in the FAQ. index.php2 is present. Thanks

I have had this same problem, l have also bought the mod for SEO and the VM extension and still get the same errors. i have version 3.2.3 which is showing as the most recent version.
Error message is :

04: Not Found
