Guys, I think we're getting a little off track here...

My Joomla configuration file works great. My FTP access with Joomla works great. I never said I couldn't use the FTP layer with JoomSEF. You asked if I used the FTP layer and the answer is yes. So the last post makes no sense to me since I don't have a problem with the FTP layer.

Where I do have a problem goes back to the original post - I can't save my JoomSEF configuration. The configuration file is there, the permissions are correct, and your own page shows that the configuration.php is writeable. But all changes are lost on any apply or save.

Can you think of anything else I can check?

Yes, I use the FTP layer...

This happens with anything in the configuration. I checked for the file and it's there. I also checked the permissions and everything looks fine.

Just above the tabs on the configuration page, it says:

ARTIO JoomSEF Configuration file Writeable

Any other ideas?

I go to the configuration tab of the control panel, then to the Title and Meta Tags section, set the "Use sitename in page titles" to No, then click either Apply or Save.

I get a "Configuration Updated" message, but nothing has been saved. The settings are the same as they were before I made the change.

I've hunted on this forum and on google with no luck so far.

I'm running JoomSEF 3.7.4, Joomla! 1.5.20 stable.

Any ideas?
