There is a significant delay when creating the SEF URL on my site. Let me explain:

When users sign up for my website a user page is automatically created for them, along with an associated menu item. It takes about 20 seconds for this menu item to get a SEF URL.

Now this menu item is created by a Joomla Plugin, not manually. Could that be the cause of the issue? If so, how do I trigger JoomSEF to create the SEF URL?

The solution of this problem is critical to the operation of my site.

Help would be appreciated.

I updated to 3.6.1 and it provides options to deal with these issues. So no help needed after all.

My website can be accessed with or without the leading 'www'. However whenever someone tries to log in to the site without the 'www', such as domain.com it redirects to www.domain.com. Then an error will show saying that the session has expired and they need to log in again, or 'invalid token'.

I know this is a JoomSEF problem because it does not do this when JoomSEF is disabled.

How do I configure it so that it does not redirect to www.domain.com?

I am using JoomSEF 3.5.3 on Joomla 1.5.15.
