Thanks for sticking with me on this one, I'm afraid I'm not a web developer so I'm not sure I have been using JoomSEF correctly - but until now it seemed to working!

#1 How did you add the sub variable to your menu item?
Do you mean in Virtuemart or JoomSEF?

#2 Have you used the External Link menu item type?
Where do I find this?

#3 How exactly does your URL look like in your menu item?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Have just checked and the 'Accept only filtered variables' is set to No.

Any other thoughts?

Hi

Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction.

We have just started using sub level menus and now URL for the main item has stopped working and I'm not sure what to use for the sub level items

The old non-sef url used to be: index.php?option=com_virtuemart&category_id=34&page=shop.browse&
Item id 1

I have tried changing it to index.php?option=com_virtumart&category_id=34&sub=1&page=shop.browse& but that didn't work.

Any help would be gratefully received.
