I don't appear to be so lucky. My hoster is 1and1, they are using PHP 4.4.9
Setting the ENV variable in .htaccess to 5, 4.4 or 4.4.9 doesn't make any difference.

I know I'm currently uising the free version, but I am evaluating.

The error I get is:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /homepages/3/d342654161/htdocs/joomla1/components/com_sef/joomsef.php on line 19


Could anyone help?
