When I use JoomSEF with the Knowledge base Joomla extension I am getting a 500 Internal Server Error when I disable SEF for that module it works. I would really prefer if I can keep SEF working for it. I did notice that the SEF generated URL has strange characters:

I did try this out
When you do choose an alias it has to point to the same link as the main menu item, however not all side menu items will point to the same link as the top main menu item.

But still using Aliases, I can only give one alias to a menu item, however if there are multiple menu entries in the side menu this would not work.

Or if the side menu has to appear under multiple main menu entries.

I had an issue with highlighting selected Top Menu, I did solve this by adding the MenuID as ItemID under Manage SEF URLs in artio.

This fixed the top menu issue, when I tried this on the side menu it is either the side menu that is highlighted or the top menu that is highlighted but not both.

If you click on Butikk in www.webkonsepter.com it takes you to the shop, however in sef.webkonsepter.com it simply takes you to the homepage, even the SEF url is imply a /

Adding to that in Joomsef if you click on Nyheter on submenus show in the top menu, and if you click on a submenu under Hjem the other submenus disappear.
