Hi
These are the SEF URL's this is the trace information:
Referer: www.teigndivingcentre.co.uk/calendar/eve...nmouth/20521-galicia
User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/31.0.1650.63 Safari/537.36
This event has been live for months without producing these SEF URL's
THis seems to have happened after I tried to change the default handler for Jcal Pro.
Now I am unable to delete the urls, clear the cache I cant even filter the SEF URL logs by components?
Which Handler should I use?
How can I get the Joomsef buttons to function again?

Hi
Joomsef seems to have created thousands of url's like this:
x68/x74/x74/x70/x3a/x2f/x2f/x77/x77/x77/x2e/x74/x65/x69/x67/x6e/x64/x69/x76/x69/x6e/x67/x63/x65/x6e/x74/x72/x65/x2e/x63/x6f/x2e/x75/x6b/x2f/x63/x61/x6c/x65/x6e/x64/x61/x72/x2f/x65/x76/x65/x6e/x74/x73/x2f/x33/x37/x2d/x62/x6f/x61/x74/x2d/x64/x69/x76/x65/x73
Which are giving 404 errors
Why would these suddenly be created? how can I stop them?
THese do not seem to be the URL's on the front end of my website?

Thank you for that.
What is the cost of an extension for JCal Pro? You used to have one in previous versions so I had hoped there would be one soon as we have recently upgraded our site/
Thanks

Hi
When I try to save a generated site map, or when I open site map manager I get the following error message:
"Your sitemap file is deprecated or not created. After you make all the changes, you should hit the Generate XML button"
How do I resolve this?
Thanks

HI Dajo
I have enabled source tracing, how do I interpret the trace? I have posted an example below
From: www.teigndivingcentre.co.uk/16-diver-tra...at=feed&type=rss
Referer:
User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Pimonster; www.pricepi.com)
#1: call_user_func_array(Array, Array), /libraries/cms/router/router.php line 528
#2: JRouter->processBuildRules(JUri), /libraries/cms/router/site.php line 568

Hi Dajo
Thanks for your response.
I have looked and those category ID's do not exist. The site is only 8 months old so I am not sure where the old links will have come from?
Is there anyway to find them and clean them out?
I will keep trying with the crawler and wait for the new version then.
WIll keep monitoring google.
Thanks

Hi Dajo
Thanks for your advice. The non search engine friendly SEF's look like the ones below:
index.php?option=com_content&id=99&view=category&Itemid=169
index.php?option=com_content&id=100&view=category&Itemid=169
index.php?option=com_content&id=101&view=category&Itemid=169
index.php?option=com_content&id=176&view=category&Itemid=185
index.php?option=com_content&id=89&view=category&Itemid=173
I purged the SEF URL's yesterday and I now have 23 not 47 but I dont understand why there are so many and why the number varies so much?
The crawler stopped this time after crawling 537 / 1293 URL's.
The issue with indexing is that I have only 22 pages indexed with Google after submitting over 200 in the sitemap. I am concerned this will negatively affect our SEO?
Thanks

HI
I have installed Joomsef and I have run into a couple of issues:
1, I have 47 SEF URL's called Home, I cannot understand how Joomla has created so many URL's for my home page and Joomsef so many SEf url's with the same name?
2, When crawling my website Joomsef keeps returning an error and stopping?
3, Since moving to joomsef and submitting my new sitemap I only have 22 pages indexed by joomla, is this right?
Appreciate your help with these issues and queries

Hi
You used to have a plugin for joomsef to make Jcal Pro URL's friendly, is this available for joomsef 4?
We have recently moved our sites to Joomla version 3 and want to use joomsef again for SEO.
Can 1 license be used on 2 sites?
How does Joomsef work in conjunction with RSseo thats seems to offer good ranking and other tools?
Thanks
Mark
