TOPIC: 3 problems, 2 in the script, 1 in the layout

3 problems, 2 in the script, 1 in the layout 10 years, 4 months ago #45492

Hello,

First of all let s say Very good extension, been using it since more than 2 years and just upgraded to Bookit 2...

So, now i have to explain my problem :
I run a business with 8 quad bikes and do tours with them. I have 4 different tours to offer, so i guess the only way to calculate the availabilities is to create 1 item "parent" then 4 as "child" , am I correct ?

If i create 4 items "parent " for each reservation people can book on the same day 8 quads for item 1, 8 quads for item 2... total 16 quads for the same day.... cannot :)

So what is the way to calculate the availabilities to avoid overbooking ? some lines to modify in the script ? or the function already exists and i didn t find it yet ? I am really looking forward to a quick solution as I cannot manage my things properly like this... and my old website is down...

I attached pictures to this ticket just in case my only solution is to create only 1 parent with 4 children items... problem 2 and 3 are design problems so they are seconday but might help me.....

One more thing i discovered few sec ago... there is a conflict with the mootool used in your script... any way to desactivate your mootool as the mootool is already called by a previous script (parallax).... If my parallax is active then the page is not charging...at all

Thank you very much

Thierry
