Yay!! Fixed it! turning off the cache within Joomsef is now showing all the correct urls

It didn't work. Looks like I am having problems with other url's that won't change either:-
www.tansun.co.uk/en/products/tansun-rio-ip -
www.tansun.co.uk/en/infrared-heating-applications
www.tansun.co.uk/en/general/about-tansun
www.tansun.co.uk/en/news/blog
www.tansun.co.uk/en/technical/how-quartz-heating-works
www.tansun.co.uk/en/technical/benefits-energy-smart

All these have new SEF Url's successfully created i.e www.tansun.co.uk/outdoor-infrared-heater works but the site still shows www.tansun.co.uk/en/products/tansun-rio-ip. I looked throughout all url's/custom/trash etc but www.tansun.co.uk/en/products/tansun-rio-ip does not exist. Why are the old sef url's still showing on some but others change successfully for example www.tansun.co.uk/indoor-outdoor-infrared-heater????

Thank you so much for your help. I don't want the sef URL for this page to be www.tansun.co.uk/en/products/tansun-rio-ip. What I did is create a new sef URL for it www.tansun.co.uk/outdoor-infrared-heater but I didn't put trash the old sef URL that jomsef created (www.tansun.co.uk/en/products/tansun-rio-ip). so now never mind what I put in I cant change it from www.tansun.co.uk/en/products/tansun-rio-ip

Okay just to confirm (to save any 404 errors and a angry client. If I trash www.tansun.co.uk/en/products/tansun-rio-ip this will return to the non sef URL and I can create a new one. The reason I can't overwrite this URL with a new one is because I haven't deleted it from trash??

Further to my enquiry. It seems when I change the " sef urls" to new "sef urls" and then accidentally click save the old url to the redirection table, the new url doesn't show. For instance I redirected www.tansun.co.uk/en/products/tansun-rio-ip to www.tansun.co.uk/outdoor-infrared-heater and accidentally clicked save this to the redirection table and now it won't change!!!

Hi Guys,

I have successfully installed the plugin and must say it is so easy to use!! However, I have done something wrong and I want to know how to rectify it. I have used custom url's as the client was not happy with the format suggested.

I have successfully done this on other url's see www.tansun.co.uk/ceramic-electric-infrared-heater

however:- www.tansun.com/en/products/tansun-rio-ip won't redirect at all. I think this is because I accidentally entered /outdoor-infrared-heater for this page www.tansun.co.uk/indoor-outdoor-infrared-heater. I then deleted this but saved it to the redirection table. I then redirected the correct custom url for www.tansun.com/en/products/tansun-rio-ip to /outdoor-infrared-heater but it won't redirect like it's stuck. even If try and make it /outdoor-infrared-heaters it won't change from www.tansun.com/en/products/tansun-rio-ip

what do I do?

I have installed the Joomla SEF plugin and as soon as rename the htaccess.txt to .htaccess I cannot access any of the site and it brings up a 500 internal sever error

The current .htacess file looks like this:-
