Hi, there's no estimate on release date yet.
I was hoping, especially with others reporting the problem, that a fix might have been provided by now, especially for a product with an annual fee.

I've found a change we made that caused this. We'll fix it in next version. Unfortunately, there's currently no option to stop it in JoomSEF.
Thanks for this information.
Is there any news on when the next version might be available??

Hi,
I upgraded from 3.8.1 (??) to 3.9.1, certainly not from 3.9 though.
I have noticed that the URL's now all seems to include 'catid=0' for the ones that are being created that I don't want. This is interesting as all of the articles that have 301 redirects already in Joomsef are in the 'uncategorized' category, which theoretically would be 0.
I just can't see anywhere in the 'Manage 301 Redirects' where I can update this information etc, or whether there is a way to stop Joomsef creating SEF URLS for the category ID 0 completely as a potential fix??

Hi,
Since upgrading to the latest version, all of my 301 redirects which took many hours to input, are now being automatically over-ridden by auto-generated pages, which the redirects were designed to bypass!!!
This is really hurting our sitemaps and our exposure!!
everytime i delete the auto-generated links, they re-appear when users visit the pages!!
HELP!!!!

It's stressing me too. If I add new articles, I don't know if they are going to sef or not, and then go to google news etc with the wrong url for when it's fixed!!!
Argghhh!!!!

Good Morning,
I currently have a bunch of domain aliases pointed at my main site ( www.newsonnews.net).
I've browsed the internet in order to find a .htaccess solution so that I could redirect some of these domain aliases to particular parts of my site, but I'm running into difficulties.
For example, I have politics news located at www.newsonnews.net/politics using joomsef.
I'd like to point one of my domain aliases, for this example, www.politicalskew.com to the politics page of my site.
I found one solution that does it, but it gives a 404 component error because its looking for politics/index.php which doesn't exsist. The other solutions I've found I think are looking for an actual directory called politics, which clearly doesn't exsist as its made by joomsef.
Is there a way to do this?
Regards
Kevin

Good Morning,
I'm having a problem with menu ID's and getting category blog layouts to display correctly.
I have a two menu system on my site, and in order for category blog sections to have the ultimate parent menu item displaying on my top menu, I have to use its menu id. However, this then breaks the blog layout settings I require for my categories.
Here's some links to what I mean.
CNBC Asia Shows
This link shows the category blog layout as I want it. The menu id for it is the one where I can set the blog layout. However it doesn't show the parent link in my main menu at the top of the page.
CNBC Asia Presenters
This link shows the parent link at the top of the page, using its menu id, however it breaks the blog layout that I want.
Is there either a workaround to this, or a way to edit Joomla's default category blog layout settings as I want the former link layout style across my site anyway.
Thanks
Kevin

Hi,
Many pages on my site are coming up with /index.php/ in the address which breaks my site. Sometimes when I purge the URL's it fixes the problems, but they come back after about an hour.
It only seems to affect half of my pages though.
Site is www.worldbusinessnews.co.uk
With Regards
Kevin
